The Corinthian Club will be more accessible and confident than ever before.

Having been completely renovated for the first time since it was opened eleven years ago, The Corinthian Club has undergone an extensive transformation, updating the elegant building and providing a host of new facilities. Skilled artisans have restored plasterwork, created mosaics and carried out their work in painstaking detail.

Michael Bergson Venue Director of The Corinthian Club:

“We have been overwhelmed with the positive response we have received from those wishing to join The Corinthian Club team. The G1 Group has been awarded ‘Investors in People’ Gold Status, making it one of the county’s leading employers with the highest qualities of standards, service and working environment.

“This project aims to change the face of ‘eating, meeting and gaming’ through bringing to bear all of the Group’s experience in innovation at the leading edge of the leisure industry in Scotland for almost two decades

“We believe that the unique and diverse proposition which will be offered at The Corinthian Club, will further reinforce Glasgow’s place in the UK as a leader of style and quality and an Internationally renowned tourist centre.”

Stuart Patrick, chief executive of Glasgow Chamber of Commerce, added:

"The Corinthian is one of Glasgow's most iconic structures and it is fantastic to see the G1 Group making such a significant investment in the city. The last 12 months have been a strain on the UK economy as a whole and, true to character, Glasgow is rising to the challenge.

"The city has recently reclaimed its place as the top retail destination outside of London and was also named the world's 11th Ultimate Sports City at a ceremony in Dubai just last month. Glasgow is fast cementing its place as a key player on the world stage and the major investment in The Corinthian Club further underlines the city's ambition.

"The creation of almost 200 new jobs is great news for Glasgow and the Chamber looks forward to continuing to work closely with the G1 Group. I eagerly anticipate the relaunch of, what is shaping up to be, one of Europe's premier entertainment venues."
